In the past, heavy and expensive generator sets were necessary to produce AC power on location but not anymore! The VISIT MPG 1500 inverter is the lightest mobile power generator available.The Mobile Power Generator measures only 9 x 5.3 x 12.8 in. (LxWxH) and is astonishingly powerful for its size! It has two outlets which allow for the operation of a maximum of 2 x 500 J flash devices or 1 device with 1000 J and 1 device with 500 J of flash power. Of course, other electrical devices, such as laptops or personal computers can also be plugged in. The only requirement is that power consumption should not be too high (max. 300W).

A quickly replaceable battery drawer with a lead gel battery and no inconvenient memory effect serves as a power supply. With this system, a 500 J device can yield approximately 130 flashes at full power. If a modelling light is being used, the number of flashes is reduced. Additional battery drawer increase the capacity accordingly and can be changed in seconds, thanks to the brilliant battery drawer system. In total, there are three possible ways of charging the batteries: By means of a charger connected to the mains at any power outlet (110 V – 240 V, automatic selection) or with the VISIT Car Adapter on all normal 12 V car batteries. Alternatively, the device can be charged using the VISIT Car Charger on the car cigarette lighter socket or by means of a 12 V electrical outlet.

On location, your batteries can be charged or recharged quite simply by using your car’s electrical system. The new VISIT CC3 Car Charger facilitates the charging of Porty 1200 B, Porty Premium 1200 AS/RC and Porty Premium Plus battery drawer as well as the VISIT MPG 1500 inverter battery drawer. I

f necessary, the batteries can also be charged as stand-alones (outside of a tray) using an optional adapter cable. The charger can be operated on all 12 V electrical systems. The connector fits classic cigarette lighter sockets as well as all popular 12 V electrical outlets. A 7.2 Ah battery can be charged in approximately 2.5 hours and a 12 Ah battery in approximately 4 hours.Both connector cables are solidly mounted to the device, approximately 1 m for the battery tray connection and 2.3 m for the connection to the 12 V electrical system.

VISIT Car Adapter

The Visit Car Adapter increases the capacity of your Porty 1200 B or your VISIT MPG 1500 inverter to a virtually unlimited extent! If the adapter is inserted in place of the battery drawer, the required current can be taken directly from a 12 V car battery by means of the terminal clamps. If the battery is recharged by the car engine, the adapter can be operated for a practically unlimited time. The same is true if several batteries which are independent of the car are available.Thus, for example, with a normal 88 Ah car battery and a Porty 1200 B at full power, you have more than 2000 flashes at your fingertips. A 36 Ah battery still yields approximately 850 flashes.

Electronics with an integrated interference suppression filter guarantee the optimal power supply to the devices. Thanks to electronic protection against miswiring and the sturdy terminal clamps, contact problems are reliably avoided. Connector cable (approx. 5 m) with terminal clamps for 12 V car batteries. The housing is compatible in type and design with the Porty 1200 B or the VISIT MPG 1500 inverter battery drawer.
